INITIAL WEIGH IN:

FINAL WEIGH IN:

Date: Saturday, March 4th, 2012

Time: 12pm to 2pm

Rules:

• The weigh in can only take place during the designated dates and times

• Only our judges (2 non-participating members, 1 female 1 male) will record your initial and final weight in private

• You should be prepared to wear as little as possible during your weighing.

• ONLY the highest percentage losses for the first three places will be revealed to everyone.

• We encourage healthy, non-self destructive methods of weight loss, which include exercise and a healthy diet. We do not condone starvation diets, pills or any other risky methods of weight loss. We do not accept any responsibility for participants who choose to use risky methods of weight loss.

• Once the results are calculated, the three top contestants will be posted on our website and Facebook, unless you instruct us against it. These contestants will have their pictures posted on our website as they receive their prizes and will be asked to share their methods of success.

Costs and Prize:

You need One Hundred Dollars to enter the contest which will be divided as follows:

$75 for the Prize Money and $25 for the Children – Kalawawa

Please bring cash or check made out to KALAWAWA, Inc. on the date of the initial weigh in.

La organización "Por Una Sonrisa De Un Kalawawa" es una fundación sin fines de lucro y sin ninguna afiliación política que trabaja para la infancia olvidada, que vive en areas rurales en el departamento de La Paz-Bolivia.

The organization "For The Smile Of A Deprived Child" is a non-profit foundation and without a political affiliation that works for the forgotten children that live in rural areas in the department of La Paz-Bolivia.

Esta fundación viene haciendo campañas para dar un poquito de alegría a niños que viven alrededor del Lago Titicaca. Esta población campesina que vive en una situación de pobreza extrema y les es muy díficil darles a sus hijos un juguete y ropa para navidad.

This foundation has been doing campaigns to give a little bit of happiness to children that live around the Titicaca Lake. This rural population lives in extreme poverty and it is very difficult for the parents to give their children a toy and/or some clothes for Christmas.

"Por La Sonrisa De Un Kalawawa" ha estado llevando juguetes y ropas a estos niños en algo que se ha convertido en una tradición por mas de diez años de empezar este proyecto. Es reconfortante ver que por lo menos estos niños pueden esbosar una sonrisa por lo menos en una vez al año cuando inesperadamente les llega nuestro aporte.

"For The Smile Of A Deprived Child" has been bringing toys and clothes to these children in something that has become a tradition for more than ten years from the beginning of this project. It is promising to see that at least these children are able to give a smile at least once a year when our contribution arrives unexpectedly.
